For a congress at the Palais des Festivals, the Croisette, the Banane and Carré d'Or area and the town centre put you closest, so you can walk to sessions. Le Suquet and Californie trade some proximity for calm, views or more space. We give no minute counts here: the verified walking figures are in our walking-distance guide.
How to choose
Decide first whether your team will walk to the venue every day. If so, stay on or near the Croisette, in the Banane and Carré d'Or area, or in the centre around the station and Rue d'Antibes.
Then consider evenings. Seafront areas are lively and busy during events; hillside and old-town areas are quieter but involve slopes or a short ride.
Our homes by area
Area labels below come from the location we list for each home. Californie: none of our current listings states Californie as its location, so we do not claim one there.
| Area | Position relative to the Palais | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Croisette | On the seafront, the same boulevard as the Palais | Most convenient; liveliest and busiest during events |
| Banane and Carré d'Or | Just behind the seafront, close to the Palais | Boutiques and restaurants nearby; mix of residential and shopping streets |
| Centre and station | Inland from the seafront, around Rue d'Antibes and the station | Easy rail arrival; everyday shops; flat walk to the seafront |
| Le Suquet | Old town on the hill above the old port | Atmosphere and harbour views; expect slopes and stairs |
| Californie | Residential hillside above the town | Calmer and greener; usually a taxi or car for the venue |
